Purpose

Room Summary rolls up the room-level inventory entered on Room Sheets. Use it after the rooms have been inventoried to see where Total Item Volume, item counts, supplies, and move complexity are coming from. It is the whole-move bridge between detailed room work and the loading and labor decisions that follow.

How To Use This Sheet

  • Review whole-move totals after the Room Sheets have been filled out.
  • Compare which rooms are driving the move.
  • Use it as a bridge between detailed inventory, Truck Capacity, and labor planning.

Room Summary is most useful when the room sheets contain meaningful inventory and notes.

Example: Which Rooms Are Driving The Move

After room inventory is entered, Room Summary can show whether the move is driven by one heavy room, many small rooms, packing supplies, or special room details.

A garage, basement, or office may explain why the move is larger than the customer first expected. Reviewing the rollup makes that conversation easier because the estimate is tied back to room-level information.
