The Master Inventory List is a reference catalog here on movercalcs.com – not a sheet inside the Estimator. It shows standard item names, expected dimensions, short descriptions, and images where available. The items you count room by room on your Room Sheets come from this list, so use it whenever an item needs clarification.

Choose The Most Specific Item First

Use a named catalog item whenever one reasonably describes what is being moved. Named rows preserve the most useful weight, volume, protection, and handling assumptions. For example, use the applicable lamp, mirror, laundry basket, or storage-bin row instead of a generic Misc Item row.

For loose belongings without a useful named catalog match, use the Room Sheet’s built-in Misc Item, Box Fit packing choice. It is a workbook packing fallback, not a separate item in this web catalog. See Room Sheets and Packing for how to use it. Already sealed cartons belong under Misc Items Already Packed.

Containers That Are Already Moveable

Do not add a second box merely because an item is a container. A plastic storage bin, storage-bin stack, suitcase, trunk, footlocker, or laundry hamper is counted as its own article and does not automatically produce another box. A Laundry Basket is the exception in the current catalog: it can recommend one Large Box so the basket and its clothing or linens can be packed together when appropriate.

Return to your inventory

After checking the item name and size, return to the matching Room Sheet and enter the quantity. If no listed article fits, follow its custom-volume instructions. The catalog does not insert items into your move.

Browse By Room

Choose the room you are inventorying. Bedroom Items combines Bedroom 2 and Bedroom 3; Kids Bedroom Items combines the two kids bedrooms. Primary Bedroom and the other rooms remain separate. An item may appear in several rooms; each listing links to the same item description and dimensions.

The box listing includes all thirteen box profiles, including supply-only boxes that do not have their own room assignments.
